Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
This is the official Shadowrocket website and user guide. These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when visiting this site, reading instructions, and using its content. Please read them before following a tutorial or changing your device settings. App purchases and store services are also subject to the applicable transaction rules.
1. Scope and Nature of the Content
This site provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, making your first connection, importing via Subscribe, managing Config, and troubleshooting. The documentation explains how features work and where they apply; it does not guarantee results for any particular network environment or purpose.
The in-app interface may change with updates. Follow the current interface when performing actions. Prices, system requirements, device compatibility, and general purchase eligibility are as stated on the App Store product page. If the instructions differ from what you see, check what the settings do before changing them.
2. Purchases and Service Boundaries
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app released exclusively for Apple platforms, primarily for use on iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Before purchasing, see the genuine app verification guide to confirm the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official icon, and app ID 932747118.
A one-time client purchase does not include a service subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy nodes or subscription services. Tutorials assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. App purchases, payments, refunds, and restoring purchases are handled under the applicable App Store rules. This site's documentation is not a substitute for proof of purchase.
3. Lawful Use and Safeguarding Information
You must comply with the laws, regulations, network management requirements, and service terms that apply where you are located and where your activities take place. Do not use the app or this site's content for illegal activity, to infringe anyone's rights, to access systems without authorization, or to disrupt network operations.
Make sure you have the right to use any information you import, and keep subscription links, server credentials, and configuration backups secure. Before sharing a configuration, screenshot, or diagnostic log, remove passwords, access tokens, and personal information. Do not publicly post complete records containing sensitive information.
4. Liability and Disclaimers
Connection results depend on factors including device settings, local networks, server status, and configuration. This site does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its documentation or that following the instructions will meet a particular connection need. Latency test results reflect only the conditions under which the test was run and do not indicate that every service will work.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for interruptions in access, unavailable connections, unintended configuration changes, missing backups, or resulting data loss. Back up important configurations and keep a recovery option available before making changes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
5. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to the developer and the respective rights holders. The official icon, app interface materials, and product name shown on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation. Visiting this site does not grant permission to copy, modify, or redistribute the app.
Original text and page designs on this site are protected by law. Reasonable quotations should identify the source and preserve the original meaning. Copying or commercial use beyond what the law permits requires prior permission from the relevant rights holder. Do not remove rights notices or present modified instructions as the official original.
6. Changes to These Terms and Review
These terms may be revised to reflect feature changes, updates to the scope of the documentation, or legal requirements. Revisions and the month of update will be published on this page. Material changes affecting users' rights or responsibilities will be clearly highlighted here. Revisions will not retroactively restrict rights users have already acquired under the law.
Please review the current terms when you return to this site. For questions about using the app, start with the first connection guide and its troubleshooting section. For help organizing subscriptions or saving configurations, see the subscription guide. The guidance here does not replace checking the legal obligations or transaction rules that apply to your situation.
